Energy and water usage data for City-owned buildings. Each record represents usage over a particular time period with the type of usage indicated including electricity, gas, steam, or water. In the future this dataset will include usage data for all buildings in Detroit that are over 25,000 square feet and thus fall under the Energy and Water Benchmarking Ordinance passed by City Council in 2023. This usage data is sourced from Energy Star Portfolio Manager and is updated on a daily basis.This usage data is related to buildings represented in the Energy Water Benchmarking Ordinance - Buildings Dataset.
