Libraries located in the Southeast Michigan region (2024)

This dataset was created in 2024 as part of an effort to understand the accessibility of core services throughout the SEMCOG region. The analysis included area in counties surrounding the SEMCOG region as residents may utilize services outside the region's boundary. This dataset was created using Open Street Map Point of Interest data and further reviewed to determine locations that were accessible to the public. Libraries were considered accessible to the public if they have computers available for use by the public and they are welcome to children and families. Specialty libraries, such as university libraries or archival libraries, were not included in this dataset.
